Shepherd’s hut holidays in Suffolk
Suffolk is a little hidden secret (promise you won’t tell?).
Another little secret is our deceptively spacious, thirty-foot-long shepherd’s hut!
Let’s show you around.
Park right outside.
You can park right here if you like, at the entrance to the hut. If you’re having visitors, we have plenty of additional parking.
Step in to a warm welcome.
Let yourself in (with our key safe – far right) to a sparkling clean, spacious and welcoming hut. Special occasion bunting optional!
Where will you relax first?
You haven’t got to move our shepherd’s hut around to find a place to sit. Breakfast bar; reading corner; luxury sofa – take your pick!
Greenery all around.
Hopefully there won’t be too much washing up, but at least it’s a lovely view from the kitchen.
A shepherd’s hut with a beautifully hot shower.
This isn’t a wet room – it’s a shepherd’s hut with a proper shower. A separate cubical. Relax in the hot tub, rinse off in the shower. Happy days.
Enjoy open plan living.
Our shepherd’s hut is only 30 feet long – there are going to be compromises – but that doesn’t mean you need to scrimp on quality or design. Our hut is made for living!
And the hot tub?
It’s right outside. Tucked around the corner in near total privacy. The hot tub is solely yours for the duration of your stay.

Our Suffolk location
On a map, we are almost exactly half way between Ipswich and Norwich. We are ten minutes from Eye, which is five minutes from Diss – where our nearest railway station is.
If you can tear yourself away from the hot tub, there is plenty to do in this area of Suffolk.
We’re 15 minutes from Bruha Brewing in Eye (with a taproom) – also Grain Brewery, Ampersand Brewery and Flint Vineyard are within 30 minutes. We’re 20 minutes from Framlingham Castle (the “Castle On The Hill”) and the fabulous Helmingham Hall Gardens (check opening times). We’re 45 minutes from RSPB Minsmere and 50 minutes from Southwold and the Adnams Brewery Tour.
Some of our café picks include Cocoa Mama Chocolaterie in Eye (10 minutes), The Good The Bad And The Hungry in Wingfield (20 minutes) and the Urban Jungle in Beccles (50 minutes).
Pubs and restaurants are The White Horse Inn and The Walnut Tree (10 and 15 minutes respectively), The Victoria in Earl Soham (15 minutes), The Low House in Laxfield and the Station Hotel in Framlingham (both 20 minutes).
Beer, wine, wildlife, cafes and castles. That’s the Suffolk we love. Come here on your holidays and we hope you too will fall in love with it.
